GARMENT CARE

For those who understand the art of less, true luxury begins with care.

Caring for Wool Garments

Wool is a noble fibre, naturally breathable, warm, and resilient. With proper care, your Lantieré wool pieces will maintain their beauty and structure for years to come.

Note: We do not recommend washing our wool garments in the washing machine.

How to Hand Wash Wool

What you’ll need:

  • Mild wool detergent or baby shampoo
  • Clean sink or basin
  • Soft towel
  • Cool or lukewarm water

Step-by-step Instructions:

1. Fill a basin with cool or lukewarm water. Add a small amount of wool detergent and mix gently.

2. Submerge the garment for 10–15 minutes. Gently swish—do not rub or wring.

3. Drain and refill with clean water. Swish gently. Repeat until water runs clear.

4. Press out water gently without wringing. Lay on a towel, roll it up, and press.

5. Reshape the garment and lay flat on a towel or drying rack. Avoid heat and sunlight.

Additional Wool Care Tips

Never hang wet wool

– Use cedar blocks or lavender sachets to repel moths.

– Use a fabric shaver or sweater stone to remove pills.

– Use a low heat setting with a cloth between iron and fabric.

– Gently dab stains with a damp cloth and mild detergent.

(Not Recommended)

Machine Washing

While some garments may be labelled as machine washable, we strongly advise against using a washing machine for Lantieré wool pieces. It can compromise the fibres and the garment’s shape. For best results, hand wash or have it professionally dry cleaned.

"True luxury lies in the details — not only in how we wear our garments, but in how we care for them."
